Bethlehem, Pennsylvania – The Esther M. Lee African American Heritage Center is excited to announce its official launch as a comprehensive resource for celebrating and preserving African American history. Available online at EMLAAHC.ORG, the center provides a dynamic digital experience complemented by a traveling banner display designed to bring the stories and achievements of African Americans to local communities.
Named in honor of Esther M. Lee, a passionate advocate for cultural preservation and education, the center’s mission is to highlight African American contributions to history, culture, and society.
Key features include:
- Online platform that offers legacies, videos, and educational content.
- Traveling Display utilizes banners to share pivotal moments, iconic figures, and narratives of African American heritage. This display will be expanded upon in the future. The display is available for schools, libraries, community centers, and events.
Our goal is to make African American history and culture accessible to all, whether through our online presence or by bringing the story to life through our traveling display,” said CEO, Esther M Lee. “This dual approach ensures that everyone, from small towns to urban centers, has the opportunity to engage with this rich heritage.”
